MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The armed man who twice went to the Wisconsin state Capitol looking for Gov. Joshua Pleasnick went to the Capitol on Oct. 4, with a loaded handgun in a holster, demanding to speak with Evers. Pleasnick, 43, pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of openly carrying a gun in a public building. Under the terms of his release, he was barred from coming near Evers, the Capitol building or the governor's residence in nearby Maple Bluff. When asked if he planned to follow the terms of his release barring his coming to the Capitol or near the governor, Pleasnick said, “Abso-(expletive)-lutely."
